In a comparison of two radioisotopes, isotope A requires 15.0 hours for its decay rate to fall to 1/16 its initial value, while isotope B has a half-life that is 2.5 times that of A. How long does it take for the decay rate of isotope B to decrease to 1/32 of its initial value?

im no brainiac, but if an estimated 96% of our universe is dark, or unaccounted for, why would anyone think they could account for it?

How can science say, on one hand, "density or gravity can be so intense that it can bend light, and bend time" and on the other hand legitimately agree on and publish a size and age of the universe?

thats like me saying "it might rain in new jersey january 24, the year 5000" and then i prove it. i dont get it

Then why do so many Doctors advise so many people to take it for almost everything, isn't it either you need medication or you don't? Surely it is not right to recommend medication of any kind where for instance a cup of warm milk and honey will do the job just as well and even worse to recommend pain killer, however mild, when there is a remotest chance it will defer "very early symptoms" of a more serious illness and who except God himself can be absolutely sure on that point?

Apparently the first people to subdivide time where the Egyptians around 2000bc.
So were there forms of time measurement that sprung up throughout history that have since died out, or did all time measurement spread across the world from Egypt?

Here's the equation:

Zn + 2HCl ---> ZnCl2 + H2

The first two is a regular number and the other two 2's are supposed to be subscripted.

Would that make it 44.8 L of hydrogen?
It's OK to assume STP on this, according to my teacher.
Since it's H2, which would be 2 moles of hydrogen, and one mole = 22.4 L, it's 44.8 L.

Did I do that right?

I'm asking this in the engineering area because the whole story focused on engineering morals and ethics. If whoever is responsible for deleting this question could PLEASE email me as to WHY you are, I would greatly appreciate it. What part of the ToS is being violated?

Anyway, back to the question: the moral of the story was "making the machine user-friendly ruined the company," or something like that. The engineers had added a LED display welcoming users into the machine but it also ended up alerting them of an error in the replication process....

as untrustable / idiots / brainless that carries with them from answer to answer?
So that way we (the people who ask questions) can more readily set a limit of the credibility to those that answer our questions.
I am so tired of the 'copy and pasters' wikipedia quoters who think that wikipedia is the only credible source of info (it's not. its rife with errors and opinion)
And the schmucks with persistent dumb off topic or completely brainless responses.

4. transport proteins span the cell membrane, allowing the selectivety permeable membrane to regulate which molecules enter and leave the cell.

5. proteins at the inner surface of the plasma membrane attach the membrane to the cell's support structure, making the cell rigid.
