After you pick up a spare, your bowling ball rolls without slipping back toward the ball rack with a linear speed of v = 3.22 m/s (Figure 10-24). To reach the rack, the ball rolls up a ramp that gives the ball a h = 0.50 m vertical rise. What is the speed of the ball when it reaches the top of the ramp?
m/s

FACTORING POLYNOMIALS

I have two problems.

1) Factor.

x^6 - 2x^5 + 7x^4

My answer is "not factorable." (Which means that it's impossible to factor.) My friend graded this, and she marked it wrong... Is my answer correct?

2) Factor.

m^4 + 8m^3 + 8m^2 +64m

My answer is (m + 8)(m^3 + 8m). Like I typed, my friend marked my answer wrong... Is my answer correct?

If I am wrong, please explain these two problems to me (and show your work).

If I am right, please tell me so.

Thanks for helping me!

We were shown a graph today in Biology, which showed the population of a certain type of Aphids throughout the 12 months of the year. The population increased greatly between the month of October and February. I was wondering why that happened at such a time, because where I live, the plants the Aphid feeds on have lost there leaves. I was unable to ask the teacher as the bell rang just then. My most reasonable guesses for this would be either this type of Aphid lives in the Southern Hemisphere, where October through February are the warmest months, or the Aphid thrives in cooler conditions, such as the moderate temperatures in, say, Florida. What are your ideas as to why this occurs?

I'm really having trouble with chemistry homework... I dont want homework answers, I just want help on how to do something.

So basically, can somebody tell me how to find specific heat of water and of metal.

Also, it isnt just regular water, it is water heated at different temperatures.

Cos(square)x - sin(square)x = 1
Sin(square)x - cos(square)x = 1

Consider the identity cos(pie - x) = -cosx
verify the identity numerically, when x = pie/6
