f(x)= 1/x around the x axis. Find the volume of Torricellis Trumpet when X [1,10].
I dont know where to begin for would prefer someone to help point me in the right direction?

Is it Pi (Integral from 1 to 10) 1/x? take the integral of 1/x (being (2/3) X) and substitue? = Pi [(2/3) X] (1 to 10)

2/3 pi - 20/3 pi = -6 pi? This is all guess work because i'm not too sure of myself with finding volume.

All I know is sin(90) = 1, sin(0) = 0, sin(30) = 0.5, cos(0) = 1, cos(90) = 0.

Yes, I could use a calculator now, but I need to know how to figure it out without aid, else I'll be helpless on my exams.

If I'm given something like sin(60), sin(50), cos(30), or cos(45), how could I figure these out without a calculator?

My answer comes out to:

A = 90 degrees
b = .34
c = .93

Am I correct?

Have you ever had inspiration for some book or invention, and didn't act upon it. Later you find out that someone wrote the book you wanted to or made the invention that you had sketched out on a napkin? There have been many lawsuits involving people who showed their ideas to famous people and get plagurized.

Mind reading is one thing, but there could be that one percent of the population that is tuned into grabbing all of the best ideas right out of the ether - coincidence or not?

Is the act of thought really a private issue?
