rewrite the fractions in 10ths
4/10w-15/10w+10-4
simplify
-11/10w+6

2. 3/x^2+4x+3 - 1/x^2-9
3/x^2 - 1/x^2 + 4x +3 - 9

3/x^2-1/x^2=2/x^2

2/x^2+4x-6

lcd is 5(w+2) 2(w-2)

2(2w-4) -3 (5w+10)
4w-8-15w-30
-11w-38

3 / x^2 +4x+3 -1(x^2-9)
3/ x+1 x+3 -1 x-3 x+3
lcd x+1 x+3 x-3

3(x-3)- -1(x-1)= 3x-9-x+1= 2x-8= 2(x-4)
