Hello I want to know if I did the following question correctly :

A neon sign is made of glass tubing whose inside diameter is 0.025m and whose length is 5.5 m. If the sign contains neon at presure 0.00234 atm at 308 K, how many grams of neon are in the sign.

v = (pi)r^2 = 0.011m^3 = 1.1 x 10^-5 L

n = PV/RT = 0.00234 * 1.1 x 10^-5 / 0.08206 * 308 K

= 1.02 x 10^-9 mol

mass = moles * Mr =1.02 x 10^-9 mol * 20.18 = 2.06 x 10^-8 g

Then the another question asks :

If the pressure exerted by ozone, O3, in the stratosphere is 3.0 x 10^-3 atm and the temperature is 250 K, how many ozone molecules are in a liter?

Could somebody please show me how to do it as I know that I am doing it wrong as i obtain 4.8 x 10-5 molecules

THANK YOU!!

OK, I have to describe the transformation

f(x)=-(x-4)^2-3

MY ANSWER
1. Shift 4 units to the rt. on the hor. axis
2. Reflection through the x axis
3. vertical shift down 3 units

AM I RIGHT?

Now, Write the equation for the parabola that is

1. Shifted twenty units left
2. Vertically stretched by a factor of 6
3. Shift up 4 units

IS IT f(x)=6(x+20)+4

AM I RIGHT?

PART DUE!

What are the domain and range of the following quad. equations.

1. f(x)=-(x+7)^2+5

Is it

D=(-infinity, +infinity)...R=[5, +infinity)

IS THIS RIGHT?

and
g(x)=5x^2+25-4
5x^2+21

Well, I'm not sure how to approach this...I know completing the square is necessary but how do I do this one?

THANKS!

First of all, I'll tell you flat out - I am NOT a science kinda person. I hate science, I hate science fair, and I don't like my science teacher (pointless, but it makes it all that much harder to do this).

The point is, I was looking for a quick, easy, 1-2-3 step project that was so easy, a caveman (or I) could do it. Here are the two projects I narrowed it down to:

1: Testing how the number of letters in a file change the size of the file.
------------ Basically opening Word and saving 1000 letter A's as one file, then as another file saving 2000 letter A's, then as another file saving 3000 letter A's, etc. Then comparing/contrasting the data.

2: Testing if saving an image file in a different format will change the size of the file.
---------- Saving a pic in different formats (like JPEG, TIFF, PNG, etc) and then comparing/contrasting the data.
