yes so the other side will be 28
so 28 + 28= 56
so 180-56= 124
so the third angle is 124
or it may be 180-28= 152
dividing by 2 we get 76 each
either 76, 76, 28
or 28, 28, 124

The angles of a triangle always add up to 180.

If you have one that measures 28 degrees:
180-28= 152.

Now you know that the remaining two are going to be the same, so:
152/2=76

So your three angles are 28, 76 and 76

It depends on whether it is a vertex angle or base angle.

SOLUTION 1:

Let's assume it is the vertex angle. The other two base angles would be x. The angles all add up to 180°.

x + x + 28° = 180°
2x = 180° - 28°
2x = 152°
x = 76°

The other two angles are both 76°

SOLUTION 2:

On the other hand if it is referring to one of the base angles, then you have two angles that are 28°.

28° + 28° + x = 180°
56° + x = 180°
x = 180° - 56°
x = 124°

The other angles are 28° and 124°.

If the vertex angle is 28 degrees, then the other two add u to 180-28-152, and are equal, so they are 152/2 = 76 degrees each.

If the 28 degrees given is one of the two base angles, then the two base angles add to 2*28=56 degrees, in which case the vertex angle must be 180-56=124 degrees.

Please pick whichever of these two solutions may apply in this question. Good luck!

76

All the angles in any triangle add up to 180 degrees. you subtract 28 from 180 (the first angle) and if the remaining two are the same you divide 152 (this is 180-28) by two, you get 76. both of the remaining two angles added together are 152.

Assuming the "one angle measures 28 degrees" is the angle that's NOT congruent to the others....

180 = 28 + 2x
152 = 2x
76 = x

Each of the other angles are 76 degrees.

*************
If 28 is the measure of one of the congruent angles, then

180 = 2(28) + x
180 = 56 + x
124 = x

Then the angles are 28, 28 and 124.

well unless I'm mistaken all of the angles of a triangle have to add up to 180.

You only know that 1 is 28..that means the other 2 angles are
(180-28)/2

so they are 76 degrees

All angles are 180

(180-28)/2 = 76

Since all 3 angles add up to 180, subtract 28 from 180 and divide by 2. Pretty simple even for you.
