Science is becoming unreliable because it is being used by opposing political forces (consrvatives and liberals) for their own tactical purposes. For example, when Repulicans are in power, they try to manipulate statistics to show that the economy is doing well. They also try to deny the fact that global warming exists. History is also manipulated. Irrespective of real facts, Republicans praise all the conservative presidents and historical figures and Democrats do the opposite. How to preserve the objectivity of science? Is it at all possible?

I get stuck on these.

Solve the proportion-

32 - y / y = 6/10

p + 15/42 = p - 5/14

2z/z + 7 = 24/54

7/2 = b + 4.5/b - 0.5

4/c + 1.8 = 6/c + 4.3

Would you mind explaining it to me >.<
I greatly appreciate it.
