Human reproductive cells each have 23 chromosomes.
In any diploid organism, there will be half the normal number of chromosomes in any gamete or sex cell.

Human chromosome number is 46, so gametes have 23.

Sorry but you are sort of right. All human cells have 23 pair of chromosomes, apart from gametes (sex cells) which only have one pair.
