The question I asked.

Now I have questions for the people that answered...

Do you know how to read?
Comprehend words?

Half evolved fossil! I know were fossils are. I have been to research facilities and seen them. As I am sure many people have.

I said HALF EVOLVED FOSSILS! Do you need me to type that again?
Have you ever seen a fossil of a fish...becoming a bird?
With distorted bones and unspeakable changes to show it was actually changing from one animal to another?

THAT is what I was asking.

I have read Darwins theory and I am just wondering why people are treating some old mans thoughts and opinions like a fact.

I do not treat the bible as fact, so dont try and throw that at me.

It has been many years since a muslim scientist has come up with any major scientific breakthrough. A muslim Iranian physicist, Reza Mansouri, suggests that this is because of the cultural influences of islamic communities, such as the same word for religious scholar (in arabic) is used for the scientific scholar. Also, he suggests that because Islam is so influential, many muslims only study the sciences to help understand God and to understand religious concepts. He also points out that there are no universities from muslim countries in the top 200 in the world.

What are your views on this? Is there any other reason for the lack of muslim contribution to science in the past 6 centuries?

All imput would be welcome, but please note i will report anything that is racist.

I need to find the trapezium with the maximum area which is in a semicircle, using differentiation. The big base of the trapezium is the diameter of the semicircle (2R) and the other two vertices on the semicircle.
What I have to do, is to express the area A=[(b1+b2)h]/2 in R, then find the first derivative and then the stationary points.
Any idea how to express all the variables of the formula in R?
