I mean, you think you're coming here to gain some knowledge by asking a question, and all people do is call you names and act out of character on the internet.

Y! Answers needs to be shut down. And on my own accord. I'm cancelling my account.

Someone needs to stage a protest against either people bad mouthing others or Y! Answers intirely.

Peace.

ok, we know that stem cells from an embryo can become ANY of about 200 different cells for different organs. a person that has a degenerative disease wants stem cells from any embryo to regrow tissue, for instance, to cure the disease.

but if all of us have individual and unique DNA, making us exactly who we are, how does a stem cell taken from a "stranger" embryo grow into the cells that the sick person needs, fitting his own genetic profile? i.e., would not the donor's stem cells NOT work with the recipient's genome to make his own healthy tissue?

Two dogs pull horizontally on ropes attached to a post. The angle between the ropes is 51.0°. If dog A exerts a force of 310 N and dog B exerts a force of 230 N, find the magnitude of the resultant force and the angle it makes with dog A's rope.
____N
____°.

okay I know to find the angle i take the arctan of (Fy/Fx) but heres the problem for the magnitude I am having trouble figuring it out, I know to find magnitude I would take the square of the x values and the y values and square root it to find the magnittude but in finding these x and y values. do I take the giving forces and dived by cos(51) for x and sin(51) for y? I tried this and I tried multiplying yet I still could not get the proper answer. and of course the book does not properly explain this problem only problems that relate.

A soccer player kicks a rock horizontally off a 31.5 m high cliff into a pool of water. If the player hears the sound of the splash 3.6 s later, what was the initial speed given to the rock? Assume the speed of sound in air to be 343 m/s.
I don't get how to use the speed of sound...

Should'nt we all agree that humans can adapt to changes? Well what if humans first lived upon mars but eventually it fell apart or just died, and humans came to earth to find refuge. God could be the "thing or human" that brought us to earth, and we all thank God for "saving" us. Not only could earth be stronger but it could also be alot easier to live because of the water, and the water would not freeze on earth because it is close to the sun. Cyndonia is probably the last living city before humans left mars. OR there was probably a purge being waged by other life, and the adults sacrificed their children, sent them to eatrh, and "humans" had to learn all of life again. Adam and Eve could have been the adults of the pact, and or Go could have been too. What do you think?

Alright so the problem is as follows...

x+2 / 2x-3 > ((with line under it)) 1

I can get pretty far into solving it...

(x+2 / 2x-3) - (2x+3 / 2x +3) >line 0

5 - x / 2x - 3 >line 0

then theres where i get stuck... can someone explain where the answer

3/2 < X < 5 comes out of that?
