Write the following in interval notation

3 / (x+10) - 6 / x^2+12x+20 > 0
(3 over x plus 10, minus 6 over x squared plus 12x plus 20 is greater than or equal to 0)

I got as far as factoring out the common denominator, (x+10)(x+2) and ended up with 3x/(x+10)(x+2) > 0

Is that the wrong form, the wrong answer, or both?

Any help is appreciated.

If you can provide steps, great, if you give the answer, I can just figure it out, I'm decently intuitive.

In Denver, children bring their old pumpkins to the top of a tower and compete for accuracy in hitting a target on the ground. Suppose the tower is 9.0m tall and that the bull's eye is a horizontal distance of 3.5m from the launch point. If the pumpkin is thrown horizantally what is the launch speed needed to hit the target?

Two people run at the same average speed. Runner A cuts directly north across the diameter of the circular track, while Runner B takes the full semicircle to meet his partner on the opposite side of the track. Assume their common average speed is 2.70 m/s and the track has a diameter of 150 m. (a) How many seconds ahead of runner B does runner A arrive? (b) How do their travel distances compare? (c) How do their displacements compare? (d) How do their average velocities compare?

Does anyone know how to work this problem? Your help will be greatly appreciated!
