convert mph to ft per second
1 mph = 1.47 feet per second

one 'g'= 32 ft/s^2

the first quarter of a mile is described as
284*1.47=a1*4
a1=284*1.47/4
=104 ft/sec^2 or
3.25 g's

The 3/4 of a mile is
0=284*1.47+a2*14
a2=-284*1.47/14
a2=-29.8 ft/s^2
or
-0.932 g's

The average is
.25*3.25-.75*0.932
or 0.11 g's
