What would the midpoint and distance between the 2 endpoints be for
A(10, 20) B(-10, -20)

0,0= Midpoint

44.7=Distance


The guy above me did some errors on the distance. 20x20=400 + 1600=40x40

2000 squared is 44.7

the midpoint is (0,0)

the distance is 20^2 + 40^2 = C^2

400 +2000 = C^2 distance is square root of 2400 (or about 48.98979486)

Consider the two points are (x1, y1) and (x2,y2) then the midpoint between them is
(x1+x2)/2, (y1+y2)/2

and the distance between them is

sqrt( (x1-x2)^2 + (y1-y2)^2)

so for your question

Midpoint is (0,0) and distance = sqrt(400+1600)=sqrt(2000)
= 20sqrt(5) or 44.72
