Why do they have the tendency to fly around in "circles" (actually with sharp angles) in the middle of the division (when inside the house) or just in one place (when outside), instead of covering the entire room or a larger area?

... how would we have known that planet existed at all?

Ineed, any planetary body that was ALWAYS on the other side of the Sun from us at all times?

I know it's an unlikely coincidence, but no more unlikely than the Moon being closer than the Sun to the Earth by almost exactly the same factor as it is smaller than the Sun (enabling perfect Solar eclipses to occur)... surely?

Thanks for all answers.

you have two angles and one side of a triangle. the angles are on the two ends of the known side, what's the best way to find the lengths of the other two sides?
it seams like with the two know angles and a known side (and in the same place) it should be simpler (more simple) than what I am finding by searching. is there a better way when it is set up like this?

tangent to angle: "what's your "sine"?"

Let (P_n) be a sequence of polynomials with real coefficients for which there exists a positive integer m such that degree(P_n) <= m for every n. Show that, if (P_n) converges for m +1 pairwise distinct elements of R, then (P_n) converges on R to a polynomial P. (Hint: Consider Lagrange Interpolation Formula)

Show that this conclusion may fail if the sequence (degree(P_n)) is unbounded.

I've been wondering about this. I'm also curious as to know how we could shield the astronauts from the effects, would the effects be present on the Martian surface, and how can we test for possible methods of shielding and the effects of these radiations? I saw an article recently on how some fungi use radiation as an energy source - perhaps that is one way.
