1. 6√5*√2 - √5*√5 = 6√10 - 5

2. √20 = 2√5
now, 4/√20 = 4/(2√5) = 2/√5 *(√5/√5)=(2√5)/5

3. √3x = 6 then square both sides. finish it.

for 2. it is 1/sqrt (5), and the answer for 3>is 36 for x. Best I can do for 1. is (sqrt (5)/sqrt(6)) - 1 if that is any simpler.

1.
sqrt (5) ( 6sqrt(2) - sqrt(5) )
= 6sqrt(5)sqrt(2) - sqrt(5)sqrt(5)
= 6sqrt(10) - 5.

2.
4/sqrt(20)
4 / sqrt(5)sqrt(4)
= 4 / 2sqrt(5)
= 2 / sqrt(5)
Multiplying top and bottom by sqrt(5) gives:
2sqrt(5) / 5.

3.
sqrt (3x) - 6 = 0
Add 6:
sqrt(3x) = 6
Square:
3x = 36
Divide by 3:
x = 12.
