I'm wondering on the basis of did you really enjoy math and physics when you were high school and if that's why you chose to go into engineering?

It's tough because I like the sciences and I like math, but I don't love them! And I don't excel in them either! I think physics I got an 82-83 and math I got an 85?
I'm doing calculus now too, it's ok
I like science and math but I dont love them! I just do good in it because I choose to do well and because I want to get onto honor roll and get free food at the end of the year haha but still!!!?

Anyway my main question is:

What made you go into engineering?
Was it your great and undying love for math and physics? DESTINY?

Does negative three (in brackets) to the power of two equal to negative three (not in brackets) to the power of two?

My math teacher said they are not the same... but I'm confused, why?

In a matter of two weeks my beautiful bougainvillea has gone from full and flowering to barely clinging to a few remaining leaves. It is a young plant (about 3 feet tall) and it has been rainy and cool lately (I'm in Miami). However, I don't believe that these conditions are too much to blame. What worries me most is that it looks like its being nibbled on but I can find no insects (perhaps bacteria?). I don't think its spider mites and it looks like its spreading to my tomatoes.
Can my plant be salvaged?

A line with x-intercept -4 passes through (2,6) and (k,10). Find k.

Can you also show me how this relates to the x-inercept...?

Like, does it mold? Does it harden? Does it soak into the skin then desinagrate? Does anyone know? It's used as a metaphor in the bible... Rev 16:3

I was thinking solids because the molecules are much closer together, enabling it to transfer heat from atom to another atom much quicker. But i find some people disagreeing. Which is it?

About ten days ago I had a knee injury (possible torn ACL, MCL or hyperextention). I do not see the orthopedic surgeon until Thursday, and my doctor has been prescribing me 5mg oxycodone (percocet) 2 tablets evert 4 to 6 hours as needed for pain. I recently ran out of my prescription so I called in a refill. When I got to the pharmacy to pick up my medication, I noticed a label on the bottle that said something like "This is the same exact drug you have been taking but may be different in shape, color or size".

So, I took 2 right away because it had been almost eight hours since my last dose, and after taking it there seemed to be no effect at all on my pain and did not at all make me feel anything like the original oxycodone I had been taking.

Is it possible that my doctor for whatever reason prescribed me a placebo drug because he believes my pain is not legitimate or as severe as I make it out to be? Is this something that is even a remote possibility?
