that would be yes,if they have determination to make it happen,
Determinism may allow that, even if our actions are caused by forces which we cannot control, our actions can still be effective in changing the outcome of events. On the other hand, indeterminism may allow that, even if there are events which we cannot control, we have the freedom to choose how to respond, without being compelled to respond in a certain way by forces beyond our control. On the other hand, fatalism may take the opposing view that, if events can never be predicted with complete certainty, then we are free to choose our own actions, because nothing predetermines that events will happen the way they do happen.so its a matter of thinking and when you think
you use your mind, and if you use your mind to think ,then you have knowledge, and knowledge is power

Hello

I love your question. Many people will want to believe in the abitility to be able to change ones future or destiny. Im a strong believer in the power of the mind and other things connected to it.

Everyone of us has the power within to change things, wether this be ourselves, in the way we live today, things we do, how we see the world etc. We decide wether or not to take a short cut or take the long road in a journey, Whatever this journey maybe. We decide wether to say "yes" or "no" to a question. Everyday we all make decisions which lead us to do things in our lives. It maybe as simple as deciding to stay home for the day, or that you WILL go out this evening. To excepting a job promotion or moving house etc.

I think if we was to know of an event to come that would change our lives, wether this would be in a good way or bad way, then we would more than likely do things different. For example if we somehow knew we would be involved in a serious accident involving a car, we would proberly decide NOT to go out that day/night. However this may not prevent us from being involved in an accient. It may well mean that someone loses control of their car and plows into your front room of your house while your watching tv. Only if we knew the EXACT DETAILS of this event would we be able to maybe be able to change the outcome.

We all have the power to change events to a certain degree. What i mean by that is how we do things. Sharing our thoughts with someone and lending a hand when prehaps we wouldn't normally, can change an event that was to happen. Just by doing something different to make a huge difference in many ways more than one.

Some people (Religion) will proberly say through prayer we can change events. Im not religious and I dont believe that just sitting there speaking out what we would like changed makes any difference. Its what we actually do about it. The mind is a powerful thing and if we know properly how and when to use it then ANYTHING is possible!!!!

Well, obviously not with past events - because there is currently no solution for Time Travel...

As for Future Events, yes in a way humans do have the power to change events. Scientifically, it's all part of a theory in Physics called 'Chaos Theory' - but with this theory you can't predict or plan out the type of future you'd like because, well... it's all CHAOS! The smallest change - apparently will bring out the biggest change, eg: If I ate toast with strawberry jam, Tokyo will have an Earthquake. Yes - it's weird, and it's one heck of a weird theory. It's very confusing to understand too...

As for changing events just in general..., yes, we do have a bit of control - with some events, which can be avoided, or thought over BEFORE done - whereas, other events can't be changed at all. Depends if you believe in Destiny, Fate, Luck, Prediction...etc.

I personally don't think we can change the future through 'mind control' or anything - but I think we rather have an influence on the events which are supposed to follow.

Absolutely. Though this ability isn't merely of the mind. It is actually something that comes a bit from the body, a bit from the mind, and a bit from the soul. I call it the Power of Shaping. Even without deliberately trying, each and every human being does it; a small fraction of the life-force energy of the body, a small fraction of the psychic-mental energy of the mind, and a small fraction of the spiritual energy of the soul, merge to form an energy that is actually the root energy of our existence. It has had many names throughout the centuries, but I like to call it mana.

Anyway, when this energy is produced, it is "programmed" by our subconscious for the most part, because most people don't know or believe it's there. Consequently, it doesn't get programmed very well. After it's programmed, this energy is released from us. When mana leaves a human "host", it transforms into a quantum probability wave that goes out into the universe, creating its own ripple in the sea of quantum probability ripples we all produce. Each ripple has an effect on how the overall quantum probability wave of the universe "collapses" to form the matter-energy-space-time construct we like to think of as a nice, solid reality. (Yes, I'm saying all of us causes the Heisenburg Uncertainty Principle to exist as it does.)

Our field of effect, of course, is limited. And as I said, almost everyone who reads this will not believe it. So for them, it won't exist; their own Shaping Powers are shaped by their beliefs, and do everything possible to reinforce those beliefs. That's why even a true psychic surrounded by skeptics can't hardly do a thing.

I'm too rational to believe in ESP and other weird stuff. I'm not literal enough to point out, as many have, that thoughts lead to action etc BUT...

Any understanding of quantum science will show that the mind has a lot more subtle role than many realise and that 'observation' changes the physical world, our being here actually 'creates' the cosmos (nice to think about when you feel like an insignificant speck in a great big universe).

Too complex to go into here but hopefully this is a 'pointer'.

Yes and if the changes are positive/in accordance with the High Power guidance/ the individual goes far with this knowledge-and if negatif-he is returned to study his karmic lessons or totally rejected from the power to manipulate life.

Well, I'm not one to believe in something paranormal unless there is a rational explanation for it. However, humans keep making new discoveries and scientific breakthroughs. With that said, we still have a lot to discover. Maybe the mind has more potential than we give it credit for.

YES ! I actually did this many times as a child. My mind was more 'pure' and my concentration strong. I made it rain many times when I didnt want to go to school! I also changed other things, but the rain I remember the most. I havent done this in over 40 years, and dont know if I still could, but it can be done !!!

I think it depends.
When it comes to the body, the mind pretty much has domain. The body does what the mind and heart tell it to. (referring to disease, the mind creates or cures it)

As far as changing "reality", the mind only alters your perception. I'm heavy into psychic/paranormal and I'm not yet convinced that the mind can control outside circumstances.

That's how I look at it anyway.
