Ive been taking liquid Guaifenesin w/ codeine for a heavy cough for the past 4 days, the bottle is gone now and im looking to start back up my search for a job. I was told by a friend that this will show up on a drug test just as if i was using vicodine. I threw the bottle away, and im scared if i have a drug test it will look as if im on drugs. Can anyone tell me if this medicine will show up on a drug test? or if its possible to get written proof from a doctor about the presciption?

This is a phenomenon that I gather is quite common... just look at all the similar questions on yahoo...

Basicly, when you glance in the mirror - you could almost swear that you saw someone standing behind you... or... you're doing something repetitive (like washing dishes) and you think you saw someone move across the room out of the corner of your eye.

Is this imagination? Is it schizophrenia? Is it ghosts or spirits? Is it lonliness or stress?

Me and my boyfriend were having a discussion today and we brought up the question whether time travel could be possible someday. I said no, because that would take some sort of magical powers. But he said that people said that Thomas Edison was crazy for trying to event the electric light...

what do you think?

If anyone knows of any news articles regarding attempts for the invention of a "time machine" or advances in the field, please link them here!

Some how I feel with all of the sightings earth has had from so many different countries; most recent mexico. Numerous ones. We are visited for some reason. All of us know something is going on that is abnormal outside of human awareness. I don't believe the government is run by them. The only way that would be true is our money is working on aircraft secretly invented. Maybe some day we will get the big surprise to travel to other galaxies. I really don't see why they haven't reshaped our rocket ship into saucer shape anyway. It would travel faster through the atmosphere from point A to point B. If you threw a ballpoint pen straight along with a quarter, which has the greatest balance and air velocity. I should have taken up engineering!

In a particle size distribution experiemtn, a certain soil sample was examined and the size of all particles measured. In this unusual soil only 6 sizes of particles were found, and the percentages of soil particles in the differnent size groups were found to be:

Size(in microns) --- % of soil particles
100 --- 15
300 --- 12
500 --- 18
750 --- 35
1250 --- 15
1500 --- 5

Now, a single particle is selected at random, and its size (X) is measured.

a) Fine the probability density function of the particle size.
b) Give the cumulative distribution function in tabular and graphic form.
c) Find P[400 < X (less than or equal) 1300].
d) Find the mean and standard deviation of the distribution.

I don't expect anyone to answer b) fully, but as for the others, I'd be grateful for help on. Thanks.

I beilive that using magnets and positioning themsleves close together with unequal positive negative charg can creat eletricity by creating a perpetual motion machine using the opisit poles that spin to power the devise. So you have 2 magnets atached to turbine rods. These magnets will be pushing against each other and you may have to make the magnets cut at a 45 degree angle. you then start the motion/rotation of the magnets and hope that the magnets will spin in sens forever using the + and - charg. The spinning of the magnets will then turn turbines to generate electricity. Pls let me know if you think this is even a worth while idea. i have diagrams drawn out but lack any real proof this will work.
