Well, I guess you could get a good grip on all of this by
starting at the beginning...

We are on planet Earth.
The Earth revolves around a star, the Sun.
Nine planets (including the Earth) and all their moons orbit around the Sun in our Solar System (Our Sun at the center).

Our Sun is one of 100,000 billion stars in the Milky Way Galaxy
which is generally speaking everything you can see in the night sky on a clear night with the naked eye. Each one of those stars has an unknown number of planets and moons orbiting around it.

However, with a good telescope on a clear night you can see other galaxies (small "g") out there beyond the Milky Way Galaxy. There are indeed thousands more galaxies. Each one of them has an additional several billions of stars inside of it, with billions and billions of more planets and moons orbiting around them.

Now all of that is included in the "universe."
