I am a competition rifle shooter, and I want to practice my shooting positions and aiming with my new rifle at home. And I have some new sights that I need to adjust to get the right size for the targets I shoot. The problem is that I don't have 50ft straight room in my house or backyard, so I was going to scale it down but I'm not sure I know exactly how.
A few details: the target is 1.5" in diameter and I shoot it at 50ft. And want to have the scaled down range 10ft. So to find the size of the target I will have to make a proportion, is this right...
50/10 = 1.5/x
