1) Clouds mean that we get rain which means we get drinking water, which means we don't die....pretty helpful

2) Clouds do their job of shading the earth so we don't overheat from the sun

3) Clouds also help retain heat at night like a blanket so we don't radiate all the heat out into space and turn into a big snowball

Like all good things (chocolate, alcohol, sex, or Yahoo Answers) we can have too much of a good thing.
Too many clouds would cause the earth to overheat (look at Venus) and too much rain would wash out all the Superbowls.
So, it's best to have the proper balance of clouds - not too few and not too many.

clouds formation usually indicate rain is in horizon. when there is a thick clouds, that is not good for aviation. those are the one that causes turbulence and not good for the pilot or the passenger. but thick cloud turn to rains helps the soil to be moist and help the environment. clean air and water the plants, greens and mountains.

plus cloud help the hot weather cool due to shades it create.

It shades the Earth. So in that, the Earth won't be so hot. And helps shade the harmful rays that's from the sun.

It's earth's suntan lotion, our atmosphere helps to protect earth from some of the suns radiation.
