I was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma in the esophagus. They did some fine-needle procedures to scrape it out and for the last 15 months of biopsys every 3 months, there have been no more cells found. My last biopsy shows they found squamous cells. These are precancerous cells. I was wondering if anyone has heard of getting a few chemo treatments for this? Or do I just have to wait and see what happens?

What percentage (%) of their daily basal metabolic rate have they ingested ?

How long would it take, in minutes, for the person in the above question to walk off all the calories in the two brownies ? Walking requires energy equal to 2.5 times the basal metabolic rate.

Do NOT consider the energy needed to digest, absorb, and metabolize the snack itself, which the text describes as 10% of the ingested amount of food. Use the total amount of the energy in the two brownies in your calculation
