I was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma in the esophagus. They did some fine-needle procedures to scrape it out and for the last 15 months of biopsys every 3 months, there have been no more cells found. My last biopsy shows they found squamous cells. These are precancerous cells. I was wondering if anyone has heard of getting a few chemo treatments for this? Or do I just have to wait and see what happens?

I am not sure if they do chemo for precancerous cells. I think they try to remove them and see if they return.

Each case is different - this is something only your doctor can answer. Ask him/her.
