365 days brings us to today's date in 2008, then another 366 days brings us to today's date in 2009 (because 2008 has a leap year), then finally another 365 bring us to today's date in 2010. The current month is February, so to get from today's date in 2010 to 9/15/10, we'd have to additionally add the days that finish of the rest of the month (27) plus the days of the month for March, April, May, June, July, and August, then plus 15 to bring us to 9/15.

Adding it all up:
366 + 365 + 365 + 27 + 31 + 30 + 31 + 30 + 31 + 31 + 15 = 1,322 days
