So far i know that dna is stored in chromosomes, but do all 23 pairs of chromosomes carry different dna or do all chromosomes together form one dna. And is a gene a specific portion of dna?(like a slice of dna). and where does allele seem to be on the dna? can anyone give me some insight into it?

i am trying to come up with a formula that i can use in excel to figure out how much i need to make per hour to afford my living expenses.

here is the equation i can figure out how to solve:
n = g - (g * .26)

what i get is:
n = g - g * .26
n/.26 = g - g
....ERROR

can you helpe me figure this out?

In the last week i have seen more shows on TV about global warming than there has been in the past several months. About 6 months ago, there were no TV shows about this, at least not as many as now.

Yes, Katrina happened, The Europeon heat wave happened, slightly mild winter across the US. But why so recently is this getting so big so fast? I just seen a show that said we are not sure when the breaking point is of global warming and that it could be irreverseable.

I want to learn it so when people ask me i have an idea of it all .
it was neat .. light travels at ..such and such speed ..or .. if it is this far away it takes the light this amount of time to reach us.

i am designing a truss, this truss is having heavy horizontal force so the moment at foundation level is high. since the structure dont required heavy or pile foundation, there seems to be some problem in analysis. please help me with this.

Right i really dont understand this but thought someone else on here might! Well i have this worksheet. This is one of the questions see if you get it:
