I have a question i have to give some name for some chemical formel. i dont know the name for it pleas help me:
1.CH3CH2CH2CH2CH(CH3)2

C

C-C-C-C-C-C
׀
C-C-C

3. CH2-CH2
׀ ׀

CH2-CH2

4.CH2=C(CH3)-CH(CH3)2

and the next one is to give structur for the ( 3-methylhex-2-en ).

1. 2-Methylhexane

2. 4-Methylnonane

3. Ethylene; also called ethene

4. 2,3-Dimethyl-1-butene; also 2,3-Dimethylbut-1-ene, but I kinda like the first one

5. 3-Methylhex-2ene = CH3CH=C(CH3)CH2CH2CH3; if it were up to me, I'd call it 3-methyl-2-hexene, but perfessers they are afunny lot.

dude whats your deal with things ending in E. You don't like E or something? If you can't spell properly how can you do chemistry properly. If you balance equations like you spell you properly have left out a number or an element.
