3 MEN GO INTO A MOTEL.

THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK SAID THE ROOM IS $30, SO EACH MAN PAID $10 AND WENT TO THE ROOM.

A WHILE LATER THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK REALIZED THE ROOM WAS ONLY $25, SO HE SENT THE BELLBOY TO THE 3 GUYS' ROOM WITH $5.
ON THE WAY, THE BELLBOY COULDN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO SPLIT $5 EVENLY
BETWEEN 3 MEN, SO HE GAVE EACH MAN A $1 AND KEPT THE OTHER $2 FOR HIMSELF.
THIS MEANT THAT THE 3 MEN EACH PAID $9 FOR THE ROOM, WHICH IS A TOTAL OF
$27, ADD THE $2 THAT THE BELLBOY KEPT = $29.
WHERE IS THE OTHER DOLLAR?

This is an email someone sent me and it is driving me nuts! Help!

Cells are the basic structure in living things.
All living organisms are made up of cell(s).
All cells come from other cells through cell division
Cells carry genetic material that gets passed on to other cells
Cells have essentially the same chemical composition.

SHORT PARAGRAPH

Cell theory can be said to be the foundation of biology. It tells us that animals and plants can be reduced to a single measurable unit of organization. It gives also gives us the definition of life. And now after laying static for its first 150 years in the 1950’s it gave birth science of DNA research. DNA research is providing an explanation of life itself and as well as cloning and stem cell research that may prove to cure diseases we now think are un-curable and extend our life expectancy dramatically

Hi, I can do magnitude of vectors but I don't know how to find the direction if you asked me the following. Please, if possible, solve and explain the procedure for me. Thanks!

Find the magnitude and direction of the vectors:

u = i + j + k
v = 2i - j + 2k
w = 3i - 6j - 2k
r = -i + 3j - 2k

Thanks again

I have a test coming up soon for biology. I'm quite confused with some parts. Can some kind people help explain the following subjects:

A)The Genetic Equivalence of Differentiating Cells
B) DNA-RNA hydidization
C) Determination and Differentiation in cells (Possibly frog and snail)
D) Cytoplasmic Determination in cells
E) Cell-cell interactions

Explaining one of these topics will help me a lot!

Thanks.

Also, in regards to van der Waals equation, is the correction for volume or the correction for intermolecular forces more important in this case? Please help

I just watched a show on how this man had to relearn to hear electronically. A surgical implant was impended into his skull to interact with the region of the brain that is used to hear. As he was completely deaf. He relearned how to hear via electronic signals and can now hear better then an average person. As software updates so will his superior ability to hear. After this the show went into what could be as nano wires have already been designed to interface with the human brain without surgery but there are still issues with this, but have been tested on rats and have worked for five years.

So here is the question would you be willing to interface with anther person’s brain electronically? It should be possible in the next ten years.

Also, concerning the double slit experiment, can a photon be measured, but the collapse of the wavefunction be delayed if the tool used to measure the photon processes the information slowly, so that randomness can still occur even after the information is read? (Basically a photon goes through one slit and is read by a device that processes the information so slowly that the information isn't available until after the photon reaches the back wall.)

Like cells muscles bones how it all works. Like a simple breakdown of everything in one book. Haha I know that is unreachable so maybe a few different ones. But I am thinking about maybe going into a medical profession and would like to understand the human body in alot more detail then I do now. So I will be prepared to start college. And I can have a little more confidence in being able to achieve my dream. I would also like to know how things like cancer are started I know the whole tumor aspect of it. But how exactly they are created is what I’m interested in. And basically about all the different cells and organisms that pass through and control our body.

Not content with their earlier work in 2017, when they diverted Midas into a 2018 collision with Earth, our nefarious band of scruffy terrorists, armed with box-cutters of Middle Eastern manufacture, have flown out to the asteroid 14827 Hypnos.

Elements for 14827 Hypnos.
a = 2.846267652931 AU
e = 0.6648563410087
i = 1.981468099658 deg
L = 58.07821235843 deg
w = 238.01783486 deg
T = 2453492.26244

As before, they affix rocket engines to the asteroid. At 16:33:36 UT on 15 February 2022, the terrorists impart a delta-vee of 188.6597 m/s in the direction of RA 23h 2m 46.392s, DEC +50.42813 degrees (approximately toward the star 3 Lacertae).

Assume that these elements are correct for Earth.
a = 1.0000001124 AU
e = 0.0167102192
i = 0
L = 0
w = 103.078101 deg
T = JD 2454468.667

The transit time will be 842.83 days.

Will these dastardly villains succeed in pounding terrestrial civilization once more?
