Over all the piano would be the best musical instrument because it most represents music from a technical sense. Also, if you can play the piano, you can play a synthesized keyboard that has hundreds of musical voices. My preference though not on your list is the harmonica.

I like guitar and piano. Yes, the song :-) It will take atleast a 12 months to be taught the fundamentals. But, actally it is dependent upon the curiosity of the character over song and days does not topic..

drums is the funkiest n coolest to show off. guitar at times can b 2 quiet n can get annoying. piano is reallly mellow. bass is simply 2 shallow n mellow so id hav to say DRUMS

Best for what?
Best for annoying the family and neighbours - drums, but bagpipes would have to be up there, especially while you are learning them.
Best purity of sound - probably violin or cello, if played well, but can lead to early death of relatives while you are learning.
