here in atlantic Canada, the most snow we've gotten so far was last week and it was 15cm... i love the winter... the temperature has barely dropped below freezing which makes outdoor rinks impossible :(

We often come across books indicating that Trinidad, and in fact, the entire West Indies, is part of North America, rather than South America. But then, Trinidad is not far from Venezuela, and looks more logically like a part of South America. I suspect the inclusion of Trinidad in North America is based on cultural (Trinidad, unlike South America with the exception of Guyana, is English-speaking rather than Romance-speaking) reasons rather than physical. However, if Trinidad is included as South America, should not the rest of the West Indies be considered as part of South America? If not, is it possible to draw a boundary which islands of the West Indies belong to North America or South America?

when i was muck younger and lived in mexico i used t make jewelry out of, what i thought was, stainless steel rods, by using a blow torch to soften it and just make all kinds of shapes. well the other day i tried to show my boy how to do do this and i went to nuy stainless steel rod but when i tried to warm it up with the torch it just sort of burned instead of softening. what gives?

I live in Los Angeles and last week we had really weird weather the beginning of the week we had highs of 89 and later lows in the 20's. i find it i actually preffer the colder weather to the hotter weather even though 89 is not really hot. but i mean more in the 100 plus temperature.
