I find it a little hard to believe that aliens would travel the vast light years from there world to here just to probe the rectum of some back water species like **** Sapiens, even if they were doing medical studies of us they world be more important procedures to perform like a viral toxicology screeing or something like that.

Comets appear to move very slowly, in relative terms to there distance from Earth. Falling stars appear to move lightning quick and yet are much farther away from us. Is there that much difference in speed? And if so, about how fast to each travel?

I heard from a friend that canadian cites were spreading out and moving north and turning all urban. I also heard that apparently wolves are very territorial and would be mad that us humans were encroaching on their "land". I NEED ANSWERS FAST!!!!!

Three boys are trying to balance on a seesaw, which consists of a fulcrum rock, acting as a pivot at the center, and a very light board (which can be disregarded) of L = 3.74 m long.
Two boys are already on either end. One has a mass of m1 = 49.5 kg, and the other a mass of m2 = 32.0 kg. How far from the center should the third boy, whose mass is m3 = 22.2 kg, place himself so as to balance the seesaw?

How would you solve this problem? I have tried, but I am not getting the right answer.

If I doze off for a nap in the evening, when I wake up I'm in a really yucky, thick lather of sweat. Yet when I am first laying there, I'm chilly, and wrapping up to get cosy. Why do we get so hot when we sleep?

What kind of spokes give the strongest wheel strength? I notice most wheels have spokes that are just rods extending radially from the center. Is this generally as strong as it gets, or is this bc of fabrication limitations? What about arched spokes?

Any suggestions or pointers as how I should get started in analyzing the strength of a wheel mathematically?

A bike and a car set off from a set of lights at the same time (t=0s)

The car has initial velocity 3m/s and is accelerating at 0.66666m/s/s (2/3m/s/s)

The bike has initial velocity 5m/s and remains at a constant 5m/s.

After 'X' seconds the car has travelled twice as far from the start point as the bike. What is the value of 'X' ?
