I need someone to show me the steps and solve the following equations.

The first equation is m(t)= -log(base3)((squrt of t)+1) +2.5 ) where t=5
The second equation uses the answer to the previous equation(m=?).
D=10(m)((dmb) / dt) where dmb/dt is the derivative of mb with respect to t. mb(t) = 2.6/(1 + 1.2e^(-8.860t)) where t=5.

D=??

That the piece of strange metal that crashed into a house in NJ could be a molten piece of the Russian booster rocket that fell somewhere in Wyoming? I mean when something falls from space, I'm sure debris can get spread easily as far apart as Wyoming and NJ and when pieces break up and heat up in the atmosphere, couldn't it form a small molten mass? Just a theory.

A solution is prepared where a bit of Fe2+ is added to a solution where the [OH-] is 1E-2M. Some Fe(OH)2 precipitates. Ksp for Fe(OH)2 is 8E-10.

How do I calculate the concentration of Fe? I have solved for the half reactions and I got

Ox: 2(Fe -> Fe2+ +2e-)
Red: O2 + 2H2O +4e- -> 4OH-

Ox Volt= .44
Red Volt= .40
Total Volt= .84

I don't know if that's helpful, but I have to solve for the Fe2+ concentration and use it to find the cell potential with the Nernst equation. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
