According to Wikipedia, "527 dinosaur genera have been identified with certainty so far, and 1,844 genera are believed to have existed".

several hundred thousand if not a few million dino species, but in truth we'll never know, its like asking how many type of bacteria are there at a giving moment, evolution made alot of dino's in the 220 million years the roamed the earth
