I think you should make a calendar of the current month, and in the box for each day, you could have an equation that, when solved, equals the date of the box.

I have a good one for you.

Let us say, the equation is 2x + 5y = 10 from a sentence 2 times the number of apples and 5 times the number of oranges equal 16 fruits.

Now, in math we use letters to represent VARIABLES. This is a Basic Mathematical CONCEPT. x is a variable and y is a variable. But you do not have to be just stuck with x or y letters. Choose any letter! Not everybody knows this including some teachers. So, you can use your initials of your name, say A and J for Alan Johnson. You tell the class that you can ALSO represent the equation like

2 a + 5j =10 and STILL BE CORRECT!
This a concept of variables. Then you can fill your poster with all the initials of the members of your family or your teacher or classmates with,

2g + 5z = 10
2y + 5m = 10
2T + 5S = 10 , etc.....

and yes you can use capital letters, italic letters, bold letters, etc,.. run with with so your poster will look like an art work. Make some big fonts, some small, etc. And for a finale, or last equation in your poster,

use a drawing of an apple and and orange to represent the variable like,

2 (drawing of apple) + 5 (drawing of orange) = 10. You can use clipart from the internet if you are not a good at drawing.

Note that variables can be anything. But of course, for simplicity and so that the book publishers have an easier time printing the book, the x, y and z letters are used as accepted, common "standards" representations of variables.

Have fun with it. I expect you to get an A in your poster.

you need to decorate it with equations , "unbalanced" equations
Cauchy or Bunhiacovsky ? Why not ?
