"4 questions: Cellular respiration and germinating seeds.... 1) do germinating seeds exchange gases with their enviorment? if so which gas is taken in and which gas is given off by the seeds? 2) what process are the seeds carrying out? why? 3) from where does the seed get glucose molecules to break down? 4) once the seed germinates and ges its first green leaves. from where will it get glucose molecules?"

This is a review question for my Math test tomorrow...no idea how to do it.

Simplify:
5 \/2 (\/8 + 7 \/2 - 5 \/8)

\/ is a square root sign...not sure how else to do it.

So, really not sure how to "simplify" this...a step by step answer would be awesome. =)

I am in my home in broomfield, CO. It's 10 degrees F outside and all our electricity and heating is out. The only power we have is from my battery powered laptop. My husband is on a business trip until sunday, so I am snowed in by four feet of snow and I have my six little kids with me!

All you can see is white outside and nothing in the house. OUr heating is out and so we are freezing our butts off.

I have no phone service.
Tell me what I can do I have a huge problem.

My kids are ages 6,4,4,3,2 and 13 days, yes I have a thirteen day old with me.

Two of my kids have the vomit bug and they are sick as dogs, plus I cant see to find any flashlights or candles.

Everybody is so scared and I have no phones, no close way to get help, and no possible way I am going to dig my way out of four feet of snow and get my 6 little kids, two barfing their guts out and one only 13 days old out in the freezing a*s*s cold weather to get into a car and drive to somwhere safe. Please help!!!

Methon Permiability Test:
((1)) There are 2 bottles(150 ml.). One is filled with 10 M Methanol and other is filled with same amount of water (80 ml.)

((2)) As we put those two connected bottles into a water bath (where the temperature is 80oC), the water passes to the Methanol side through the membrane and doesnot come back even the temperature goes down to room temperature.

Will they just keep adding on or do they have master plan to finish it to a certain size? Also how do you keep adding on to something like that which orbits the earth and not have it drift into the atmosphere? Because the more matter they keep adding on the more it will increase Earth's Gravitational pull on it.
