Please help, i need to know how to do these, so i can revise them...

Solve the simultaneous equation:
y=x+2
y=3x(to the power 2)

Work out the value of:
3f(to the power 2) - 4t +1 when t= -1
and: 2x (to he power minus one-third) when x=8

Mary lost her calculator and had to work out [64(to the power 2)] (to the power one-third).
How could she work it out mentally?

Simplify fully : 5(square root 2) + square root of 8

Write (square root 6)*(square root 3) in the form a(square root b), where a and b are prime.

Please help me, if u can answer any, i wud be grateful! Thanx...

A few years ago, I saw something strange when I looked at the MIchigan night sky. It appeared that the stars were all moving in small circles. I saw a time lapse photograph of it the next day, but have since forgotten all of the information about what I observed. I am hoping that somebody on here either saw it as well or knows what I am talking about. The only thing information I remember about it is that it is an extremely rare occurrence.

In this theory, a were would send out signals from the brain down the
nerves and to the RNA, which a copy of the DNA sent out to all the
cells in the body. The RNA is transformed to that of a were's
phenotype. The information on the animals DNA is stored in the
subconsious since that is where the wereside resides. (The animal
side is part of your soul, but the soul would have a direct influence
on the mind) The RNA is converted and sent out to all the cells along
with the orders to kill off all the cells with different coding of
DNA than the type sent out while at the same time rapidly reproducing
that of its own kind. Now while this is all going on, the were is
concentrating everything on the form of the phenotype. This is the
painful part. Once the order is sent out, the were's focus is no
longer needed and the body takes its course. The cells follow their
command as the were suffers the agony of all these bodily changes.
