Every book I have seen has defined the universe as "everything". If the universe is expanding what is it expanding into? It would have to expand into even more universe. I understand that the red spectra indicates that things are moving away from us but that is drifting not expanding, right? If you could help me to understand this, it would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.

This seed came from a pod from very tall trees in the Ruins at Copan. The pod opened and I germinated 4 trees. The leaves are compound, approx 18 non serated per stem, the main stalk is very woody, 1 cm wide. It is 9 months old and seems to be flourishing in Southern Canada.

2 similar but unrelated problems:

1) If Saturn has a mass 95.2 times that of Earth, and a radius 9.47 times that of Earth, what is the escape speed for objects on the surface of Saturn (in km/s)?

2) What is the escape speed for a rocket leaving the moon if the acceleration of gravity on the moon is 0.166 times that on earth and the moon's radius is 0.273 RE (in km/s)?

Suppose you have a gridded network of streets, with ten streets running east-west intersecting with ten streets running north-south. A 10x10 grid of streets. Assume all the streets permit two-way traffic flow.

The question is this: How many different possible route choices are there if you are in one corner of the grid (southwest corner, for example) and wish to travel to the opposite (northeast) corner?

Another important assumption... assume that you may NOT retrace your steps. My "best answer" choice will go to the one who not only gets it right, but explains, in easy to understand language, HOW you came up with the answer. THANK YOU!

The period of the earth around the sun is 1 year, and it is at a distance of 150 million kilometers from the sun. An asteroid in a circular orbit around the sun is at a distance of 632 million kilometers from the sun.

Already determined that the period, Ta, of the asteroid orbit in years is (632/150)^(1.5) * 1 year.

NEED TO DETERMINE the orbital velocity of the asteroid in m/s assuming 365 days in one year.
