my 5yr old son has to do an egg drop project. how do we build a container and what do we need

We did some contest in school, and the container that won was a really easy build polystyrol(that white stuff around new TV etc) box.

Place the egg in a large balloon
Fill the balloon with helium
You'll win every time

Check the link below for photos of the "contraptions" many people have used to do this experiment. I think for a 5 year old, the "surrounded by balloons" might be a good one. Have fun & good luck!!

I observed this in a vegan Q&A e book I have been given some years in the past. They suggested the water balloon element. gentle bulbs might desire to be confusing till you taped them up. you may make papier mache "eggs".
