I write many fantasy stories and chart out video game concepts. For one of them, I have a very scientific society that likes to analyze everything and put their magical world in an order, which includes scientific names. What I am wanting is a way to figure out what the scientific names would be for such non-existant creatures as the unicorn, dragon, chimera, satyr etc.

furthermore, I made up plenty of animals myself, so simply a binomial name for the above mentioned would not help as I have much more that don't exist in antiquity such as a flan, flying trilobite, bipeal wolf, you get the point. I would like to know what are the premises under which phylum, class order, and others are seperated. I know how kingdoms are seperated, but from there, I don't know how to seperate them into phyla

I have a fair knowledge of latin, I can read it and have a dictionary, so I can make up new words, but I just need to know what quality I have to find a word to describe.

I got a forward e-mail and i am mentioning some part of it here. Please tell me weather or not it`s true !

The science of astronomy states that the speed of planet Mars
has been decreasing in its course toward the eastern direction in
the few past weeks to the level we notice the "waver" between the
east and the west.. and on Wednesday the 30th of July the planet
movement stopped going toward the eastern direction..
Then in the months of August and September...Mars changed its
course in the opposite direction to the West- and that until the
end of September..which means the sun will rise now from the east on Mars!! And this weird phenomena of the opposite movement is called "Retrograde Motion" Most scientists state that all the planets will go through the same once atleast and our planet Earth is one of them. Planet Earth will move in the opposite direction some day and the sun will rise from the west!

Now please tell me weather or not you have heard of such thing ?

how do you do these? o_O i tried to do it a few times and i kinda got stuck.

A + 2 B => 3 C + D
Experiment 2 : A0 = 0.240 M, B0 = .120M, Initial rate of reaction = 2.00 M/h
2d. Assume that the reaction goes to completion. Under the conditions specified for experiment 2, what would be the final molar concentration of C?
I found the rate law equation to be: rate = 603 [A]^2[B]^2
how do you do this problem? o_O i don't think i understand the wording too much.

3b. Partial Pressure of A as a function of time at 100 C.
PA (mm Hg) ;; t (sec)
348 ;; 0
247 ;; 600
185 ;; 1200
105 ;; 2400
58 ;; 3600
Describe, without doing any calculations, how graphs can be used to determine whther this reaction is first or second order in A and how thse graphs are used to determine the rate constant.
what?! ._. we worked with rate laws and stuff, but not with pressures. is it the same as when you're working w/ T & rates?

please help me. ._. i understand it, but the wording is just... out there... thanks! :]

oculo-cutaneous teleangiectasia

And I don't need to know what diseases it's a symptom of, I'm only researching one disease and this is a symptom of it, but I don't know what it is! Help!!! This is a huge research project for my Human Anatomy class and I have to know exactly what each symptom of Xeroderma pigmentosa is and I have to be able to describe it! And please don't be a wise butt. This is worth half my grade.

We have 40 of these problems - but I think if I see one I can get the jist and show him.

Factoring Trinomials - x2 _ 8x - 9

the x2 is x squared.

I noticed a simillar question was posted 3 days ago, but mine is bit different. I am asking for the possibility of the life in the "whole universe", not just our solar system.

I have very little knowledge on the space study, so I may misuse some words. But I am sure you understand what I try to mean.

As you know, there are many, many galexies out there, which could take some billion light years or more to just get to there. We simply can not travel that far, because our technology has not been developed sophisticated enough.

Based on this fact, I think it is natural to imagine that there must be some lives (not the primitive ones like the becteria, etc.), close to the human. They may not have been evolved good enough just like us right now, but who knows if they are having the middle ages of their own right now.

This is what I think. Do you think, or can you give me a fact that there may be a high leved livings like us out there?

Where do you think they possibly be?

Could it be that the Universe is trapped in an infinate time-loop? Could it be that the Big Bang has happened (maybe multiple) times before?

Maybe every time the Universe collapses on itself it could be reborn with another Big Bang. Maybe when this happens everything happens over again. Ergo, it's possible we've lived these same lives before (maybe multiple times).

Is this possible?
