A black hole is supposed to have huge gravitational force. So big that light particles cannot escape the force. So what happened to the particles? Are they just floating there, not moving anywhere, or are they got pulled toward the black hole? If they got pulled, than the force is supposed to give acceleration bigger than the speed of light, right?. Then if an object moves toward the black hole, and got pulled, can that object be faster than the speed of light? (ignoring the fact that the object should be crushed apart by the huge gravitational force)

I was always overweight and tought I should exercise more. But instead I've been going on binge eating since a couple of month. Since then I've been losing weight and the weight loss is increasing at an alarming rate.

I now lose from 3 to 5 pounds a week doing NOTHING, just overeating.

This is definitely NOT normal and I'm worried about this. Also I bleed from my gut. An endoscopic test found nothing in the large intestine.

What's going on ??

I analyzed a signal I got from a sensor reading a periodic signal. The waveform looks pretty periodic to me. It froma pump that pumped once every few seconds. However, in the frequency analysis, the dominant frequency seems to be 0 or very close to zero. Is ther any reason why this would happen? The wave form is clearly periodic to me just by looking at it.

I think that maybe there was enough energy at that moment in history that a new type of matter came to be, a matter that was alive and able to recreate itself in the bundled up form of dna. In a way that no other matter can. Hmmmmmm.......There is so much energy packed into it.....any ideas?

When transforming raw scores into z scores do you take into consideration the frequency of the raw scores?
For eg. if a raw score of 3 has a frequency of 2.....when calculating the z score do you use 3(2) in the equation or just 3???

A Japanese clothing company has recently started selling clothing in the USA that they claim produces negative ions. During the presentation people who wore the clothing claimed to have benefited with improved health and actual healings of various aliments. The clothing is supposed to generate negative ions when worn. They say negative ions in clothes are more easily absorbed through the skin rather than conventional ion generators. I bought several items of the clothing. One of my friends bought the clothing and is now claiming to have benefited healthwise from wearing it. As for me I haven't noticed any improvements in my health. My question to you is, is it possible for clothing to generate enough negative ions to have any positive affects on the body? If you would like to know more about this clothing and see photos of what I bought, please email me and I will show you. I'm not conveinced this clothing does what the company says it does. But some people swear it works for them.

Looks like bursts of light and sometimes millions of stars flying by. Does everyone see this? Was listening to some commentary on AM radio about astronauts getting something similar because of some sort of cosmic rays and that being submersed in water would stop the rays....but I'm not anstonaut...so what gives? Although I did stare at the sun a few times when I was a kid....
