I need help answering this question...science is not really my thing...even basic science. "suppose you want a precise measure of rainfall, in your area, so you set a rain gauge outside. After it rains, you measure the level of water in the gauge and record the results. you then empty the gauge and wait for the next rain. There are at least tow possible sources of experimental error with this procedure. One will lead to a measurement that is too high and the other will lead to one that is too low. What are these sources of error?

It's nearly a law that most big men faint or complain about getting blood more than old grandmothers do. Is there some relation that big body mass or dense muscles effect how patients perceive shots? I personally get very lightheaded and dizzy when getting blood. Not because I'm scared or anxious, I'm almost certain it's a natural effect due to something I can't explain.

v_y = v_y_0 + a*t

y= y_0 + v_y_0 * t +1/2*a*t^2

v_y^2 = v_y_0^2 + 2*a*(y-y_0)

I know that v_y_0 = 0 and y_0 = 0 (a ball is rolling off a ramp and I need to figure out the final velocity in the y direction) I know the values of y, a (9.8), and time. Each equation I use, however, produces different results. What am I doing wrong here?

From what I understand, this speciality pumpkin, or it could be a winter squash, is in the 15 pound range. It has been requested by one of our customers and we have never heard of it or seen it before. I have checked in the 2006 seed catalog for both Rupp and Harris and had no luck. Anyone know where we may be able to fine this seed for next years pumpkin season?
