Can anyone actually explain to me how this mathematics question was does as I had it in an engineering test but couldn't do it:
The power gain of an amplifier relates input power, Pi, to output power, Po, by;
Power gain= 10log(small 10) Po/Pi decibles (dB)
a) As part of the assesment of a new system you have been asked to find the power gain when Po=15W and Pi=300mW
B) you also have to find out what the output power will be if input power is 400mW and the power gain is 20dB.

Please may someone explain this to me step by step as it completely mindblows me, thanks to anyone who can help me it will be much appreciated.

Thanks everyone :)

Here is the exact question- "Make a plot of the first order equation N=No e'-kt (thats a little subscript 0, and e is raised to the -kt) for an isotope with a half life of 60 minutes and a starting value (No) of 10000 disintegrations per second. Use 12 evenly spaced data points from zero up to 300 minutes.

If you can just tell me how to put the numbers in or something then I can do it on excel....I need this info by 10:30, thank you very much.

Ok I know I asked a weird question, but i am looking to fill a vase with something that I can put fake fish in to make it appear as if they were floating/swimming. That or bangle bracelets. I was thinking hair gel- but wouldnt that just let the items fall down? If you have any idea- i would be glad to hear them!

Can you tell me what kind of spider this is? And is it dangerous to humans? I was in the appalachian mountains in Virginia about a half hour from Galax when I found this spider. We camp there every summer and I found it under our camper stairs. It is a green spider with a silky shine to it. I caught it to take a few pictures of it, then I let it go. It is quite pretty actually. My camera is not good at picking up detail but I hope you can still tell me from these photos what it is.

Thanks very much,
From Hideous Troll

I have more photos of it if you need more to look at.
