These ants are about a half inch long, are black, but have an orangey-red fur or "hair" on them. My friend calls them "velvet ants". What are they? I always killed them thinking that they were what is called "Mexican Fire Ants", but now I know different, b/c after moving to the state of Texas they have tiny red ants that I understand are the fire ants instead, though. I'm curious if anyone knows these ants & if they sting or are poisonious.

Thanks!

since in space their is no up or down and the weight of a planet or star cannot be used to justify the atraction of another body saying that it bends the fabric os apace, thus pulling this body towards it.
I beleave rotation is the cause of gravity by pulling in the fabric of space insted of bending it.

Hip Breadths and Aircraft Seats: Engineers want to design seats in commercial aircraft so that they are wide enough to fit 98% of all males. (Accommodating 100% of males would require very wide seats that would be much too expensive.) Men have hip breadths that are normally distributed with a mean of 14.4in and a standard deviation of 1.0in (based on anthropometric survey data from Gordon, Clauser) Find P98. That is, find the hip breadth for men that separates the smallest 98% from the largest 2%.
