Let's assume that you have two identical columns of air with the same total mass and the same temperature at any given height (the temperature can change with height). Then, at any given level, the pressure (weight of the air above you) will be the same, as well as the density (by the hydrostatic equilibrium and the ideal gas law, in case you were wondering).
Now let's say you heat the air at the bottom of one of the columns. This makes the molecules move faster and the air expands, becoming less dense. Since it is confined in a column and the ground is solid, the only place the molecules can go is up, pushing up the air above it. So if I am sitting at 3000 m above the ground, more of the air is now pushed above me than it was before. Since the pressure at any point is the weight of all the air ABOVE you, that means the pressure increases for all heights above the surface. The reverse happens if the air is colder.
So, the fact that the pressure at 3000 m over the equator is higher than that over the poles is the same as saying the temperature of the air near the ground is warmer over the equator. In fact, meteorologists often look at the thickness of the air between two PRESSURE LEVELS to tell the average temperature of that layer!

Because there is more atmosphere over the equator. The troposphere extends to a much higher point over the equator than over the poles(about double the height I think). Therefore there is much more weight over the equator than over the poles, which exerts more pressure.

The shift wouldnt substitute something. The axis would in basic terms substitute the ecosystem, yet no longer astrology. The north and south pole of the earth would substitute, yet its sync rotation may be the comparable. as long because of the fact the orbit of the earth dosent substitute from the solar, our signs and indicators would nonetheless be the comparable. Astrology is degree by earth + orbit region = constallation solar. and so on and so on. it rather is measured by the orbits, no longer axis
