Hypothethically, if I was a person from the year 2054 and I was sent back in time to 2006 to prevent the death of someone famous, how would I get in touch with this person, to warn them, if the paparazzi can't even get near them? Also, if I was traveling on a bus in NY and lost a quarter from say, the year 2049 and someone from 2006 found it... would this be bad? What is the worst outcome? Hypothethically of course.

I am no expert so please pardon me if my reasoning is wrong. I was viewing the descent of the Apollo 11 moon lander as shown in
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4166049933953240830&q=moon&hl=en

I find the video clip quite strange. The sizes of the craters on the moon do not change with the descent of the craft. At about 10:02 mins into the clip, a voice says 21000 ft. the craft drops to about 200ft in less than a min. Think of looking down at a football stadium from an aircraft high above the sky. At landing the small-sized stadium you saw in the air has grown so large that it is larger than your craft yet in the descent of the moon lander in 1969, the craters hardly change in size. Image you were descending in a light plane into a crater on earth. Would you say that the Apollo 11 video clip is a true reflection of a craft that is descending onto a celestial body with many large craters? Can a pilot take a critical look at that video and tell me what’s going on?

Thanks.

Find two numbers whose difference is 5 and the difference of their squares is 65.

Please answer this using the ff. methods:
Defining the variables;
Thought processes;
equation; and
final anwer.

You can use the ff. to solve this:
Square root property;
factoring;
completing the square; or
quadratic formula.

This is about PROBLEM SOLVING INVOLVING QUADRATIC FORMULA.

The variable is only ONE.

I'm sure I remember a relatively simple equation!

Find the equations of the circles:
a) with the centre (-2,3) and radius 6
b) with centre (3,0) and which passes through the point (5,4)
c) with centre (3,-1) and which touches the y-axis.
d) find the centre and radius of the circle x^2 + y^2 - 4x + 8y - 80

Explanations would be very helpful because I mainly want to understand how it is done.

Hello!
Imagine that I'm now listening to a song on my computer and I happened to place my handphone just beside my speaker! Later on, the speaker made a strange cracking 'noise' and then, I got a call on my handphone!

Later on, my speakers made the same 'cracking noise' again and this time, I received a SMS!

I know this has something to do with the propagating waves and all that but could someone explain to me in detail on how the cracking noise interfers with the music played on the speaker? What phenomenon is this?

Thanx and take care! =)
