There is a large possibilty that they do. It is in human nature to have the ego and since many think humans are the top of the food chain, and the dominate species on this planet, they do not give thought to other existence or merely dismiss that there could be anything else outside of our little world.

Well, I guess that would be part of a three or four part question, and you only asked the first part. Right?
Now, what is your definition of Aliens? Is it living things that were not born on this Earth? Hmm-m, how big, or how small do these things have to be to qualify as aliens? In other words, are you open minded enough to consider such things as microscopic bacteria and one cell organisms? If so, and that meets your understanding of alien life, do those things have to be alive now to qualify as aliens?
If you answered no, they don't have to be alive now, then most likely (there is not definite yes or no) the answer is yes. Given that there are zillions of stars like our Sun, and that they probably have many planets orbiting around them like our planetary system (Mars, Venus, Jupiter and all that) the odds are that at least one somewhere (maybe more than that) has (or had) the characteristics necessary to support life (Aliens).
Now to the meat of your unasked questions...
Where are they? I dunno.
What do they look like? I dunno.
Will I ever meet one? I think not.
When did they die? I dunno.
Will we ever get a radio message from them? I dunno.
All you can do is look hard and study the various materials you can find such as chunks of meteorites and moon rocks. From those things you can learn about the composition of things that are foreign to this Earth. Any suposition based upon those examinations is, well, let's just say it, an educated guess.

WOW, such a coincidence because I just wrote something about aliens in somebodys blog, then came through and saw this immediately so I went back and copied the post, here it is:
What would we do as a civilization if we were to be invaded by aliens?
I once had this dream, many actually that we were and these dreams held no feeling of peace. I still wonder if what I saw was from another planet, or it was symbolizing aliens as in foreigners, but the part machine I saw was not on the ground, and didn't appear to be something from earth.
Like said in earlier blog, we come to our own conclusions but it makes me wonder what could we do to save ourselves if we were to be fighting for our planet, we can't even live as a whole in peace.
Maybe that is the only way to bring peace on our planet, by having to fight together-just like independance day really-all fighting as one.
Shame it seems to be the only possible way peace could be found among our own, having to survive as a whole

You think you would be asking this question if we actually KNEW one way or the other?
The answer to your question HAS to be that no-one knows for sure.
Or if you're a conspiracy theorist, no-one that is ever going tell the rest of us knows for sure.
If your question is about the likelihood of intelligent life forms existing somewhere in the Universe then the answer is that there is almost certainly intelligent life somewhere else in the Universe - the Universe is just too large for life to have only evolved on one small insignificant planet called Earth.
Whether they will ever visit us (or indeed if they do, whether they choose to make themselves known to us) is another matter. Space is unimaginably large and Planet Earth isn't exactly at the main cross roads - it may be that no-one ever drops in to call!

there must be other life forms out there! "Aliens" is quite a suggestive label though as it inveriably conjures up a certain image, monsters, big eyes et etc. If there was life anywhere near us in this universe I'm sure we would have some sort of proof by now.

there's not enough possibility that aliens do exist...
besides some astronauts went to outer space and other planets, and they haven't seen any life forms yet...

Of course they do.
Billions of planets in billions of solar systems in billions of galaxies.
We'd be fools to think that we were the only ones.
