Say you don't like the results of a research survey... what are some creative ways that you could skew or alter the results to be the way you WANT them to be, but that still look official and legitimate if your research is ever investigated.

And no, I'm not a research scientist, but I'm writing a story and want to include this idea of deliberately mangled research data.

The problem is, well, I don't really know what pdf means.

The pdf of X is f(x)=kx^2 for 0 < x < 2 and f(x)=0 elsewhere.

Find the value of k.

I think what I have to do is find the value of k that yields a parabola that does... something. But I don't really know. Help?

I didn't know that sting rays can kill people. They have sting rays at the petting section of the GA aquarium. So, wouldn't the sting rays be a danger to people? or only certain kinds of sting ray can kill?
