f(x) = 2x + 3.

Give the range.
Should turn out to be : 3 (less than or equal to) f(x) (less than or equal to) 23.

I don't have ANY clue on how to get it, with or without a calculator. Without the calculator type, would be easiest for me to understand.
Please, don't be shy with the details.
Ever since Algebra I, I B.S.'d everything. Now it's all caught up with me in Trig./Pre.Calc.

I love her writing, but no question that she was a damaged person. I wonder why she was so driven to take so many lovers, and how much more she could have written if she hadn't contracted cancer. Who knows, maybe if they'd all used condoms, she'd have written richer stories? Don't know whether to put this Q. in Arts or Medicine tho'. Assuming that doctors will be equally cultured & less offended by the speculation, I guess.

The planet in question is nanoseconds from being sucked into a black hole. Now, as impossible as it would be, lets assume that there is still an atmosphere on the planet and its gravitational force "somehow" has enough sway over the black hole to pull the tree to the ground. The tree crashes nanoseconds before the planet inters the hole, but our listening device is just far enough out of reach for the sound to travel to it in those few nanoseconds.

So... Does it make a sound?
