If natural selection is based on survival of the fittest, does society do the right thing in helping everybody survive to sexual maturity? Would it be better long term if weak genes were allowed to die out of a population? Does society practice a sort of reverse eugenics? NB- This is just a question, not a political manifesto!

Sorry folks, no pictures. It flew away before I could snap one.
It looked exactly like a Blue Jay, but it was a yellowish color.
Could this have been a young Blue Jay?
Oh, I live in Iowa if that helps any.

As you surely know zero gravity has a great influence on human body (bones demineralization, etc). But generaly males do not need gravity to exist. Females need gravity every month to complete ovulation cycle. Of course many females spent a lot of time in space but their ovulation cycles were stopped by different kind of medicines during space missions.

I recently read an article about the critical water shortages in Asia and Africa.

There are 6 billion people on this planet. The human body is 80% water. If we assume that the average weight of the 6 billion is 50kg. This means that each of the 6 billion are carrying 40 litres (40kg by weight, ie 80% of body mass) of water. So 240 Billion litres of water is out of circulation from the environment and retained by humans...

This is not even considering the amount of water we use indirectly for irrigation, industry, animal farming, etc. I suspect this would more than double that figure.

Apologies; Over the years I have forgotten.

When I ask "complex", I mean that you can't just multiply/divide 1 side to reach an equation that is simple to add/subtract to solve.

The system of equations I am currently attemping to solve is as follows:

3x - 4y = 21
4x + 2y = 6

I know how to solve this equation using substition and graphing but am unable to do it with linear combinations.

Thanks! Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

I am trying to identify a spider I saw, since I didn't get a photograph I have only the image in my head. I posted a question about it on here, but I am not able to describe it accurately enough for identification... I went through all 200+ pages of spider photos on Bug guide.net and was still unable to find any spider that looks remotely like the one I saw. If anyone knows of a site listing all species in Ontario, preferably with pictures I would be grateful because it is driving me crazy not knowing what kind of spider I saw!!! I really hate not being able to satisfy my curiosity and any suggestions would be appreciated!
