to me , usage is mixing up. People sit on rockets to go to moon. No one sits on a missile. Fighter planes carry both rockets and missiles.

I can remember performing such feats not in my memory but in the feeling of my soul, and with the life I live I am having trouble practicing as long as a should on meditation, I know there is a master waiting for me somewhere, I am simply searching for him/her.

consider linear inelastic collision, we know:
momentum = mass x Velocity
Kinetic energy = 0.5 x mass x Velocity ^2
both directly proportional to velocity...if there is no loss in mass, velocity is the only way to reduce kinetic energy due to the inelastic collision.how can momentum remain the same yet kinetic energy gets reduced ( for the system of two colliding solids).
one case that comes to mind:
we bounce a golf ball between two walls in a room in space (vaccum inside and zero gravity). if Kinetic energy gets lost due to the inelastic collision then the velocity will eventully be 0 and the ball will stop...which means the momentum of the ball will be zero.the room istelf will have to be at rest since the bouncing between the two walls should cancel out given the momentum conservation laws...something is wrong in this picture I am just not sure what it is?
any advice is more than welcome.
thanks

There are 10 colored marbles in a bag, some red, some green and some blue. All the marbles feel the same are the same weight, and the bag is not see through. You are not allowed to look in the bag. You are only allowed to pull 1 marble out. How can you make sure it will be a red marble? I'll post a possible solution later if no one gets it. Oh yeah, you can not add anything else to the bag such as red paint.

I notice that the structure of atoms is simmilar to the structure of the solar system. Is it possible that like there are protons in a nucleus is it possiblee that the sun or other stars have a positive charge that determines how many planets orbit around it?Just like the amount of obiting electrons is based on the number of protons in the nucleus? I was thinking that if such was true and we knew the charge of the sun it would possibly allude to how many, or how many possible planets are orbiting the sun. What do ya'll think?

Nikola Tesla's inventions and contributions to science impact us every day of our lives, yet you don't find him in today's textbooks next to the names of other scientists/inventors. Why is he omitted from high school text books and not given the credit he diserved? I still hear references to Marconi having been the inventor of the radio, yet his patents were overturned in the 40's and said to be based on Tesla's work. So, why does our society still teach that Marconi invented the radio? Why isn't Tesla a house hold name?
