Global warming is now finally proven to be effecting our planet. Coal usage is on the rise rather than being phased out. Gasoline cars are still being produced by the millions. The rain forests(lungs of the planet) are still being destroyed. Hybrid vehicles are too expensive for the average consumer due to the economy. The polar caps and greenland are melting. The pacific ocean may soon enter a phase of continous El'nino. The global ocean conveyor is slowing down due to the influx of fresh water.
These are just a few of the problems we face right now. These problems will become far worse in the very near future if the world continues to take it's present course. It seems to me, that most of the incoming theories of how to solve some issues are a step in the wrong direction such as creating new bio-fuels instead of eliminating burning fuels all together. Has anyone considered the geological effects to plate techtonics if the polar caps melt and the earth is thrown off balance?

I understand that many of his structures have not fared well over the years. Can you tell me in what ways his houses and buildings have failed the test of time?

Back in 2003, 3rd infantry and 101st Airborne Div. soldiers kept finding oddly shaped barrels of chemicals that field-tested out to be sarin, tabun, and other blister and nerve agents. The government later said that it was all simply very concentrated pesticides.

Now, back in the 60's when I was a hippie writing nasty letters to our congressmen trying to get DDT and other pesticides banned, we used the argument that they were just watered down chemical weapons.

So, just how concentrated do pesticides have to be before they can kill a human being? Can they possibly be used as chemical weapons? And while we're on the subject, if Timothy McVeigh killed all those people with gas and fertilizer, and the 9/11 terrorists basically used jet fuel, what exactly is the kill ratio required to get that WMD label?

I was just wondering. Remember how they were saying this was going to be a really really busy hurricane season? Well, there has not been a single hurricane yet anywhere near our coast. I wonder why? Could they be wrong? Or maybe it's just not the time yet? Logically, from what they were forcasting, there would have to be a hurricane once a week to catch up with all the number they were promising. Just a thought....

The Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, is a suspension bridge. It is supported by a pair of cables that are parabolic in appearance. The cables are attached at either end to a pair of towers at points 152 m above the roadway. the towers are 1,280m apart and the cable reached its lowerst point when it is 4m above the roadway. Determine an algebraic expression that models the cable as it hangs between the towers. Transfer the data to a graph where the parabola lies below the x axis. Use the centre between the two towers as the y-axis...thanks..email me the graph if you can at madaubin@yahoo.ca..thanks for all your help.
